Efstathios Theodorou

Efstathios Theodorou qualified in Greece and then continued and formally completed his specialist training in the UK, becoming an accredited Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. During his training he acquired the diploma for diagnosis and treatment for cervical pathology from British Society for Colposcopy and and Cervical Patholoogy (BSCCP). He subsequently underwent his specialist interest training in Reproductive medicine in London and gained further skills working as a Consultant/Fertility specialist in several London centres. Upon completion, he was nominated by the British Fertility Society as a Trainer for pelvic ultrasound and embryo transfers. He has extensive experience in all aspects of Reproductive Medicine (female reproductive endocrinology, endometriosis, subfertility and assisted conception, andrology) and a specialist interest in recurrent implantation failure(immunology, genetics), ovulation protocols for poor responders and uterine assessment with virtual hysteroscopy (gel sonography). He also has an vast expertise in general Gynaecology (menstrual disorders, benign conditions of the genital tract, endocrine disorders, menopause, pelvic pain, vaginal discharge, emergency gynaecology, congenital abnormalities of the genital tract), Sexual and Reproductive health (contraception, Sexually Transmitted Infections), Early pregnancy and Cervical pathology.
